What topsnotes is

A notes app with a block editor and artificial intelligence features, offered by Ilyas Umalatov. It is free and provided as is.

Your account

You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for whatever happens from your account, so keep it secure.

You must be at least 14 to use the service.

Your content is yours

What you write belongs to you. We claim no rights over your notes, we do not publish them, we do not share them and we do not use them to train models.

We only access your content in two cases: when you invoke the AI (see the privacy policy), and if you explicitly ask us to so we can sort out a problem.

What you may not do

• Store or distribute illegal content, or material that infringes the rights of others.
• Try to access other people’s notes, or parts of the system that are not yours.
• Automate your use of the AI to drain the service’s shared resources.
• Resell the service or pass it off as your own.

If we spot that kind of use, we may suspend the account without prior notice.

The AI and its limits

AI responses are generated by a Google model and can be wrong. They are not professional advice of any kind — medical, legal, financial or otherwise. Always check important information before you act on it.

Use of the AI is subject to daily limits per user. They can change without notice: a single API key, paid for by us, serves everyone.

Availability, plainly put

topsnotes is a small project running on free infrastructure. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, or that data will not be lost. The service may be interrupted, change or shut down.

If something you keep here matters, keep a copy somewhere else. We would rather tell you now than later.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”, with no warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage arising from its use, from it being unavailable or from the loss of content.

None of this affects the rights consumer law gives you that cannot be waived.

Closing your account

You can stop using the service whenever you want. To delete your account and everything in it, write to isumalatov@gmail.com from the email you signed up with.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you inside the app. Spanish law applies, in the courts that consumer law designates.
